Michael McDonald Review |
||
|
A survivor of the latter part of the musical revolution, Michael McDonald was instrumental in the marketing of Steely Dan and then changed the characteristic sound of The Doobie Brothers for many years. "Minute By Minute" would be synonymous with his passion for The Motown Sound and he continues to tour and record on a regimented basis. His gravel toned vocal range has been implemented for sound tracks, commercials and session work for many years and he has remained as visual as any artist of his ilk. His efforts are heartfelt renditions or reflections of the glory days when part of the ever popular Doobie Brothers. Engineer, producer, writer and singer extraordinaire, induction to the hallowed halls of The Hall Of Fame are anxiously awaiting his arrival. Although somewhat gray now, a youthful enthusiasm to perpetuate the songs of content are a priority and the "road less traveled" is still on his horizon.
